Tips and preparation strategy for CBSE Term 1 Exam.
The season of Exams has arrived.Smartphone, laptops, gaming gadgets have been replaced with books, previous year papers and pens. Students are more focused towards their studies and are doing a lot of planning, practice and adapting time management.
Recently CBSE has released the mock CBSE MCQs 2021 exam papers. The papers are uploaded for the students so that they can practice for the exam as per the latest official guidelines.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct the Board exams for session 2021-22. The Board exam is to be conducted in two parts.The Term-1 board exam will be having a completely different pattern this year. It will have the multiple choice questions.
The time duration of exam will be of 90 minutes.
CBSE has also generated a special study plan for the students to make them stay focused and prepared. The exam will be conducted for minor and minor subjects. For minor subjects the exam has begun from November 17 and will continue till December 7.
Major subjects include Maths, Science and Social Studies. For the major subjects the dates of exam conduction are from November 30 to December 11.
Due to the pandemic crisis, students has lost the habit of facing the Board exam atmosphere. From consecutive two years exams have been taken in online mode. Dur to such state of mind students might ho through exam stress and excessive pressure. But it is suggested to stay calm and adapt a perfect study plans for studies.
Students might face anxiety and feel like forgetting their entire syllabus. There used to be a subsequent peer pressure. They might get the fear of missing out the topics that your friends have already studied. Of someone will ask about my own experience I'll admitt that I got mugged up a day before the social studies exams and was feeling blank. The best solution of getting out of such situations is staying calm and go through the bullet points of each chapter.
Five Tips to Prepare for Board Exams-
1.Prioritise your strengths over weaknesses.
This is needed for the students to know which subjects are their strengths and which subjects are your weeknesses. It's a simple thing that makes a big difference. Undergo self analysis and bring out best of you. Polish the topics which are your strength so that there's no chnace of marks deduction from them.
After completing the topics which are your strength go for your weeknesses. Practice, practice and practice ,you will get them.
Gain confidence by solving the MCQ question papers.
2. Proper Time Management.
Effective time management allows students to complete more in less time, because their attention is focused and they're not wasting time on distractions.Prioritize your assignments and find a dedicated study space. Create different blocks of your study time.
3. Prioritize mental health and focus.
Exam stress should never be overlooked. Do not forget to take care of your mind along with dedicated study. To stay hyper focused include meditation in your routine, stay hydrated and preffer going for walks.
Never compare your self with others. Believe in your abilities and yourself.
4. Taking short breaks.
There should be consistency in your study routine. This can be only achieved by including short breaks in your study schedule. Studying, studing and only studing will eventually exhaust you.
Do not forget to set a timer for 25 minutes and work uninterrupted for the scheduled period.Take a five-minute break to grab more concentration and focus.Thake breaks and solve sample papers along with using Pomodoro technique.
5. Trust on books.
After adapting all the strategies, just befriend your books. Books are like your academic friend.
By following above mentioned strategies candidates should believe in themselves, stay focused and always motivated to excel in their exams.
