Attitude of false assurance

The attitude of self assurance or false assurance is pretty much significantly widespread in the current societal system. The narcissistic approach towards life might seem immediately functional for a particular individual but in the long run it’s faulty for a person as well as for the society.

People are ever so ready to make fun and despise other’s crisis and use them against them for their own personal benefits that it has become appalling. We come across rape victims, the infamous case of Nirbhaya in which people were extremely outrageous on the whole proceedings of the case. They were out on the road protesting, revolting, showing their dissatisfaction with the Police in handling the case. But 1 month into it and everyone forgot about the misdeed. Everyone was happy and content that it wasn’t a part of their life and nonchalant moved on. This is just not limited to this particular incident but rampant in every single aspects of our lives.

Everybody is so tangled in their own dilemmas and issues that thinking and talking about anything out of this context seems absurd. Nobody is so selfless and idle to be thinking and worrying about worldly things. Unless it involves politics then they’ll certainly have all the time in the world to talk, worry and discuss about such things and more often than not, their political preferences are largely based on their religious, casteist and regional beliefs and has little to do with rationality and deserving candidates. This nonchalant and narcissistic attitude of most individuals towards most things in life is bound to give everyone a hard time in the long run.
