But this is life those students who live a hostel or a PG have two different lives’ one that involves college friends and another that involved hostel family. The late-night fun, food, adjustments, the drama, the stories, the warden and so much become a huge part of our life’s. Students live a n adventures and fun life they make a lot of happening memories in their hostel life.

Today we will discuss how this lovely spot which is no not exactly home to us but shows us long lasting lessons, these lessons become immensely valuable to us. These are the lessons we hold on to when we move forward in life-

Sharing:

Sharing a packet of chips can be understood by the children who have sibling but if you don’t then you may have a lot to learn in your hostel life. In the hostel life we have to share and give. We don’t have to adapt this habit but we eventually develop this habit. You will have to share your space, your clothes, books, music, notes, etc. The most important aspect that you share here is your perspective and get to learn about your friend’s perspectives as well.

Collective needs:

The hostels and PGs, permits you to consider others, it makes you less selfish and more compromising and supportive. You ensure you don't upset your roommates around night time in the event that they have a test to give the next day by watching movies or listing to music, you understand the importance of giving privacy to your roommates so that they don’t get distracted from the studies, so you either rest or study with them. These qualities are difficult to accomplish, outside world judge you by your personality so it kind of becomes necessary to have morals and be nice to others. Plus, it is really good for your friendship to last long and always.

Culture:

In hostels and PGs, we are surrounded by a no of people who come from a different background and culture, we get a chance to interact with a lot of individuals who are differences in language, culture, ethnicity, race, and caste. We learn other cultures and celebrate their festival together. We get to know new words, food, habits and lifestyle and most important get a wider perspective about everything and everyone.

Organization

At the point when you live alone, you need to learn a great deal of things all alone. You don't realize what organization means until you live all alone, far away from your home. Consistently, you need to guarantee that your laundry, make sure that your things are organized and many other things.

Conversation skills:

You learn the importance of conversations especially the meaningful ones, you become good at conversations and you look forward to having such deep heartfelt conversations with people. During these conversations, you learn so much about the world and be a lot more empathetic than you already are.
