But the harsh reality is that only a few candidates having an MBA gets a good job otherwise most of them get a job that they could easily get even after the completion of their graduation. Choosing a good college for an MBA degree is necessary as it will provide you with great exposure.
The most coveted degree of the 21st century is  the Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Today in India MBA is preferred above any other postgraduate course. Out of so many MBA schools in India, only a handful of schools provides excellent quality education. Thus, one should be very careful while joining the right. It is a very less known fact that It is much cheaper to pursue a Global MBA degree from India than to go abroad.
 
Some of the common mistakes that must be avoided are as follows:
  •        Do not follow the crowd
  •        Do not get influenced by your friends, peers and families.
  •        Do not lack focus in terms of specialisation
  •        During the first year, the curriculum mainly focuses on general management, so it is necessary for students to have clarity of specialization of their interest.
  •        Do not get under parental pressure and peer pressure to join specialization out of your interest.
  •        Check out the placement opportunities before choosing any institute.
  •        Do not emphasis on infrastructure, campus and facilities but check out the standards of colleges in terms of quality of education.
  •        Luxury amenities should not be the only reason for joining a college.
  •        Don't get attracted over 'Average Salary', printed in broachers or advertisement material, which is an average of the lowest and highest salary that was offered to students in the previous year. 
  •        Do not live with the myth that college that charges  higher fees will provide you with the best courses and jobs alike.
  •        The college faculty’s educational qualifications and experience are one of the most important key elements college offers.
  •        You should not select a college that has only teachers but no industry knowledge, you’ll struggle in the concepts in practical Domain.
  •        Some schools offer foreign trips and industrial visits as a part of their curriculum but one should not select the school on this bases.
