The Delhi Food Truck Festival wiill Be Held On 25th and 26th November!

Foodies, while you may have been waiting for the winter edition of the Delhi Food Truck Festival, looks like it has come out with new dates. The grand fest which was slated to happen on 11th and 12th November, 2017 has now been pushed to 25th and 26th November, because of the excessive suffocating air pollution engulfing the National capital. The DFTF 2017 saw a huge success early this year and came back to celebrate food, however, air pollution made the organizers shift the plan to December, but now they have decided to open the gates to the public later this month at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

"This edition will see mouthwatering and sumptuous cuisines from across the globe from more than 40 food truck brands, over 30 food and beverage stalls, a mega bar and an exclusive sheesha lounge. Coupled with interesting games and fun activities and live music form some of the best singers and bands, we assure a fun filled food and musical extravaganza," Abhishek Deo, Founder and Festival Director, DFTF was quoted in a report in IANS.

The DFTF 2017 will have more than 40 food trucks including Lalit Food truck, Celebrations Express, Hunger Theka, Thyme, BBQ, Lobo, Crazy Trucker, et al, over 30 F&B stall, a mega bar along with mouth-watering and scrumptious cuisines from across the globe. Apart from this, there will be live performances by bands like Knox Artiste, Zikr Band, DJ Basspatch and Mankirt Aulakh among others.

Why no cut in restaurant prices after GST cut

Hi,

Recently GST council reduced GST from 18 to 5% in Restaurants. Many people thought that there would be immediate reduction in prices in most of places. It is not happening and govt cant control much.. Here I explain why is this happening

There is something called input tax credit. Now, a restaurant is buying lot of raw material and rent which also come under GST. So when a restaurant buy these raw material or pay Rent, the supplier charge GST from him. For a one lakh rs rent, the GST itself would be 18,000. Now, when customers were paying 18% GST, he is recovering that 18000 from ur GST not giving that to govt.

Now, looking at this Govt played smart and announced reduction of GST to 5% but also removing this set off of rs 18,000. Restaurants being smart just hiked their base prices in return.

Final conclusion:

Don't blame restaurants. It is pure eye wash from government. If someone need to blame of not reducing the Menu price, it is government and not restaurants

Second argument: If you can afford to  eat at fancy restaurants, do you really need to care of GST or break up of bill ? If it is too high, just eat at home or road side dhabas or local restaurants.

Indian Voter logic solved_ Dissecting Amit Shah strategy

Hi All

Many people/friends keep om discussing with me on how BJP won last elections and what worked /didn't worked. I always tell them why BJP success is one time formaule. We all know that BJP polled 31% of votes in LS 2014 elections but today I got a report that explain it all.

The conclusion is  No Muslim votes for BJP.

BJP problem is 16% of Indian population but 25% of actual voters would never vote for BJP. Amit Shah and Modi understands this very well. So rather than beating around the bush, they worked on rest of 75%  of votes.

In those 75% of votes , BJP need to score heavily + make sure that opposition votes split.

Now, refer to above report and look for UP data. BJP got 42.63% votes+0.02% to Apna dal making 43%. Still they got 71 seats. So it is not that BJP got 70% votes in UP.

Amit Shah was able to polarise non Muslim votes and in that 75%, BJP got 60% of votes. Rest still went to Congress and BSP.

Even in Delhi, where BJP won all 7, The votes are 46% to BJP

but funny thing to see is Chatisgarh. Only 25% votes and won 10 out of 11 seats

Lok Sabha 2014 Projections: Modi biggest loser by Guru Vivek Gupta

On last Sunday before elections months, here is guru Vivek prediction of LS elections

1. Neither NAMO nor Rahul is going to be PM...surely not AK. 
2. Next PM is going to be a woman.. The possible candidates are Sushma Swaraj, Mayawati, Mamta or Jayalalitha
3. Modi political career and life would be at huge stake. He has done a blunder by making it Modi election thus antagonising both BJP as well opposition people. Things like Har har modi sound good and BJP leader like Rajnath , Nitin are making full use of Modi energy and money that he generated from Gujrati businessman ( including Mukesh), BJP simply can;t win 250 seats on its own because of India demographics. So even if BJP do well taking 200 seats, other 80 seats can come with the condition that any other PM but Modi so Sushma chances are there. Even Adwani can be a dark horse
4. But if BJP is lower than 200 that means, 3rd parties would do exceptionally well as congress is going to do badly this time. So mamta, mayawati or jayalalitha could become PM with 3rd front forming government and congress outside support. Of course we would see PM changing every 6 months and this would last max 2 years
5. In 2016, congress would come back again strongly ( in case point 4 happens)

All this depends upon one condition. No assasination in next 30 days  Agar Modi ya Rahul ya AK ne kurbani dedi then that party would get simple majority. Indian he bhai. Life Kurbani exceeds anything else.

This is not to influence any voting as my post is seen by max 200 people , just to show off my intelligence ..hehehehehe. and yes if there is Modi supporter reading from a pure friendly and human perspective, my advise is ' bali ka bakra mat bano'.
