 The highly proficient faculties over the department of Computer Science and Engineering aims to provide quality education to students in the field of technology. They focus on the technical, managerial and social skills with in the students, to ensure overall personality development. They provide industrial experience to students, so that they can apply there learning on practical grounds. This helps students bridge the gap between academic and industrial world. Also, department has associated with IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi as a remote learning center.

The main concern of department is to benefit students in all terms. For students to develop research based mind set, multiple societies have been set up with in the college establishment. These societies motivate students to pursue there research and higher studies. Also, help them to publish there work over national or international platforms. There is significant growth in the placement record of the college. The number of students getting placed in reputed organizations post completion of there degree is increasing tremendously. This is giving immense pleasure to the department.
Over here we work as a team, to take the department over new heights of success and honor. We resolve to prepare for upcoming challenges.

VISION

In the field of computer science and engineering, we want to emerge as a center of excellence. We want to groom our students in such a way that they become sound professionals. For this we are going to provide them with strong conceptual and technical knowledge.


MISSION

1.    To ample our students with strong conceptual knowledge, must produce qualitative research and experience. We want to lead our pupils to become quality professionals.

2.    To develop healthy competitive environment among students. So that they can serve as ethical software expert.

3.    Stakeholders would be facilitated with exposure of interaction with industries. In this way they would get benefited.

4.    Faculties would be prompt to groom themselves with upcoming technologies, also adhere new and innovative teaching and learning practices.

 

Program Specific Outcome
The student will have following program Specific Outcomes after the accomplishment of computer science and engineering program:

·       Foundation of computer system: This means to get potential to understand mathematical science principles. So that they can analyze and give solutions to real life problems like an expert.

·       Proficiency in Software Development Skills: This means being able to apply new concepts using programming languages and open source platforms to build new innovations. For this one has to enhance with new techniques and skills.

·       Successful Career and Entrepreneurship: Getting ability to go ahead in innovative career and becoming entrepreneur professionally. They are going to benefit society with there good communication and leadership skills.

 

Program Educational Objectives
PEO1: It is to proclaim a strong foundation in the field of applied science and mathematics. Also, crystal clear concepts of engineering fundamentals.
PEO2: To be able to tackle, analyze and solve real life problems logically.
PEO3: Being able to use the skills in computer science and engineering field to design and build products with creative solutions to the problems.
PEO4: Pupils acquire strong self-confidence and lifelong learning skills. Get inculcated with ethics, communication, teamwork and impart leadership qualities.
PEO5: To excel pupils with excellence in form of computer professionals or victorious entrepreneur. To provide them with quality education for there higher studies.


Program Outcomes
Computer Science and Engineering Graduates will be skilled in terms of:

·       Engineering Knowledge: This includes knowledge of mathematics and science, understanding of engineering fundamentals.  With engineering specialization pupils are able to give solutions to complex engineering problems.

·       Problem Analysis: This is the key skill as to identify, formulate and to do review research. As a consequence complex engineering problem would be analyzed using first principles of natural sciences, engineering sciences and mathematics.

·       Design/ Development of Solutions: Skill to design solutions to complex engineering problems. Skill to design system processes or components keeping cultural, societal and environmental considerations along with other considerations like public health and safety to meet required needs.

·       Conduct investigations of complex problems: Using knowledge based on research leads to the valid conclusions. Research method includes design of experiments, to analyze and interpret the data, for synthesis of required information.

·       Modern tool usage: Skill to design, choose and apply suitable resources, techniques and modern IT and engineering tools which include prediction and design to complex engineering activities, along with knowledge of limitations.

·       The engineer and society: Reasoning outcome acquired from the contextual knowledge has to be applied for the benefit to society. All the societal, health, legal and cultural issues and all other responsibilities would be evaluated which are relevant to professional engineering practices.

·       Environment and Sustainability: Professional engineering solutions leads to development. Its practices are impact to society and environment. The key is to understand the need and to demonstrate the knowledge of sustainable development.

·       Ethics: Applying ethical principles and performing and understanding the professional responsibilities, ethics and norms of engineering practices.
Individual and team work: As an individual or as a member in diverse team, have to function effectively. Also, has to be productive in multi-disciplinary settings.

·       Communication: Communicating effectively with engineering community and society is important. To establish this, one has to comprehend and write effective reports, make effective presentation and design documentation. There must be give and take of clear instructions.

·       Project management and finance: Knowledge and understanding of the management and engineering principles is significant as one can apply these to own work, or as a member and leader in a team. Even to manage projects and in multi- disciplinary environment these are significant.

·       Lifelong learning: In the broadest context of technological change, the ability to engage in independent and life-long learning is important. One must realize the need and should prepare.
