New courses at UK University offer work permit to students

If the changing visa policies and global geopolitical scenarios are making you wary about studying abroad, then these newly introduced courses will offer a sigh of relief.

The new scheme is actually a replacement of the traditional arrangement of submitting dissertations as a final project. In these MSc courses, instead of the projects, the students will have to enrol in relevant jobs. “Placements can provide students with opportunity to apply the course information in relevant organisational context,” says Mark Barlow, director of student recruitment and admissions at the University of Surrey.

The University of Surrey, UK, has introduced five new PG courses in Commerce stream which can extend your stay in the UK. The course promises to update your study visa to a work visa. The five new courses — MSc in Business AnalyticsMarketing ManagementHuman Resource ManagementOperations and Supply Chain in the Digital Era, and International Retail Marketing in the Digital Environment.
